At the age of 24, thanks to a college friend who convinced me to apply for a job as a Venue Transport Manager, I had the amazing opportunity to work on the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
What I thought was a once in lifetime experience quickly turned into a career that I have enjoyed for over 20 years. Event Operations has brought me to far off countries I had not planned on visiting and allowed me to make lifelong friends and colleagues across the globe.
To this day, the thrill of the event world that captured me the first day with the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, remains with me through each new project. From the first planning meeting to the final wrap up day, events are where it’s at and I can’t wait to be a part of yours!
